The Warehouse Associate is a key part of the operations team, responsible for preparing, organizing, and maintaining rental inventory for client events. This role involves hands-on work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, including loading and unloading trucks, cleaning and inspecting rental items, and ensuring orders are accurate and complete. A successful candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and works well both independently and as part of a team.
- Pull and pack orders accurately based on rental contracts and load sheets.
- Load and unload delivery trucks with tables, chairs, tents, linens, dishware, and other event rental items.
- Clean, inspect, and maintain inventory, including wiping tables and chairs, and checking glassware, china, and flatware for damage.
- Return checked-in items to proper storage locations in an organized and efficient manner.
- Report damaged or missing items to the Warehouse Manager.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse workspace.
- Assist with minor repairs or maintenance of rental equipment as needed.
- Follow company safety procedures and lifting guidelines.
- May assist with deliveries or pickups as needed.
- Previous warehouse, rental, or event industry experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills and a positive team attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and early mornings, especially during peak event seasons.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Experience in driving and maneuvering a trailer a plus, but not required.
- For driving insurance purposes, applicants must be at least 20 years old.
- Applicant must hold a valid, unexpired WA Food Handler permit and Idaho Food Safety Exam certification or obtain within 14 days of hire.
- Food industry experience not required, but preferred, as occasional vending or kitchen work may be required.
- Indoor warehouse with exposure to heat/cold depending on season.
- May require occasional work outdoors or on event sites.
