This is a part-time position with the possibility of full-time. Ability to work Saturdays is required. Schedules will vary based on the amount and types of events booked each week. 6 months of food service experience is required.
Essential Functions:

- Assists in preparation of all types of food items while following recipes
- Works as a team player
- Assists in cleaning the whole kitchen area, kitchen equipment, refrigerators, freezers, and storage area
- Advises supervisor of kitchen equipment repair or replacement needs
- Oversees food display and garnishing
- Properly utilizes, stores, and labels cooked food and food items
- Checks computer printout for menu amounts and recipes. Reports any discrepancies to supervisor. Submits food usage report to supervisor.
Qualifications:
- 6 months prior experience in a reputable restaurant or hotel that is culinary and hospitality driven
- If you do not have experience, we will train the right person
- A strong work ethic and commitment to uncompromising quality
- A team-oriented approach and a calm demeanor during time-sensitive tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully
- Maintain a positive attitude and commitment to excellence
- Professional, teachable, enthusiastic, and willing to learn the Happy Day way
- Must be flexible with scheduling, including Saturdays
- Access to reliable transportation
- MUST obtain WA Food Worker Card and Idaho Food Safety Exam certification within 14 days of hire.
Compensation:
- Wage $14 - $16 Depending on experience
